Protective packaging specialist Pregis has opened a new manufacturing facility in Chihuahua, Mexico.
The new facility increases the company’s production capacity to cater to protective packaging demand across various industries, including automotive, consumer electronics, agriculture, aerospace and fulfillment.

The facility with advanced equipment will manufacture Astro-Foam polyethylene sheet foam and PolyPlank closed-cell polyethylene plank foam.
Pregis president and CEO Kevin Baudhuin said: “Mexico is experiencing significant growth in the manufacturing and fulfillment sectors.
