Private equity firm Delos Capital has acquired customised and engineered packaging products manufacturer FCA Packaging for an undisclosed sum.

Delos managing partner Matthew Constantino said: "Delos is excited to partner with the FCA management team for the next stage of the company’s growth.

Founded in 1985, FCA supplies a range of highly customised, heavy-duty industrial packaging products and services to many original equipment manufacturers that work for such industries as non-residential construction, heavy duty engines, agriculture, mining and energy.

FCA manufactures custom engineered skids, crates, pallets, boxes, collapsible boxes and other packaging solutions.

FCA initially opened its manufacturing operations in Rock Island, Illinois, US, in 1989.

It opened additional facilities across the country, including operations in Corinth, Mississippi; Princeville, Illinois; Mossville, Illinois; and Lafayette, Indiana, as well as headquarter offices in Moline, Illinois, over the next several years.
