Add-X Biotech AB is proud to announce the receipt of the Certificate of Conformity given out by the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA). This certificate shows that the production, as well as the product AddiFlex®, complies with the standards set out in UAE Standard GSO 5009:2009 "Standard & Specification for Oxo-Biodegradation of Plastic Bags and Other Disposable Plastic Objects".
Since end of 2012 it has been mandatory in the UAE for producers of plastic bags to use oxo-biodegradable additives in their production. This as a step towards reducing the damage the non-degradable bags do to the environment in the UAE. With this certification Add-X Biotech can now supply the full range of AddiFlex® products in the rapidly growing market of the UAE.
