Dantex Group will install one of their PicoColour presses for a US customer early in July, continuing an ongoing interest in its Pico range in the country, sales of which gained significant momentum during the Covid-19 pandemic. The high specification press, which features white, corona, VDP, laminator, die station and finishing, is set to be delivered to their Orlando-Florida based customer Shrink Sleeves & Labels.

Shrink Sleeves & Labels has over 43 years of experience providing pressure-sensitive labels and printed products for many industries. Using both digital presses and high-speed flexographic presses with up to ten-colour capability, the company is using state-of-the-art equipment to offer its customers the best innovative and most cost-effective, label-printing methods on the market.

Being one of the most advanced digital printing presses available, PicoColour uses the very latest in print head technology. Versatile and with a small footprint, this label printing system offers excellent printed results and is suitable for short and long-run jobs. Providing all the benefits of digital printing for today’s demanding production environment, including no minimum quantity, inline finishing, minimum waste and a super-fast turnaround, the press is built to last and is simple to operate and maintain.

“We opted for the PicoColour as it gives fantastic quality at a competitive price for a UV digital press,” said Shrink Sleeves & Labels’ Michael Bartolé. We have lots of small jobs to which the PicoColour will be ideally suited, plus it will help to open up new markets for us which will be key. We haven’t purchased from Dantex previously, but we are really impressed with what we have seen so far.”

Commenting on the installation, Dantex Group CEO Ben Danon said: “We are delighted to be able to install one of our PicoColour presses at Shrink Sleeves & Labels. The Pico range continues to be held in high regard across the global marketplace, demonstrating that print businesses are eager to invest in our digital presses and benefit from the production efficiency and enhanced print quality that is available and at an attractive price-point.”
