Following success in the UV digital press market, Dantex looks forward to promoting further advancements to the Pico range with its latest innovation, the PicoJet Digital UV Inkjet Press at Packaging Innovations.

The event runs 27-28 February at the NEC Birmingham, UK.

Demonstrating all key features and benefits, Dantex will be showcasing the PicoJet via video, while its ever-popular PicoColour press will be running on stand.

Ideally placed for high quality, long run lengths, PicoJet is a 7-colour printing system, which can be custom configured to offer wide colour gamut printing. Operating at 350mm width, at 75m/min and offering 600dpi x 600dpi resolution at 2.5pl dot size, the press includes static control, web cleaning and corona treatment for wide choice substrate printing. Dantex will be focusing on the wide variety of standard flexo substrates that PicoColour can print on to and invite visitors to discuss their individual requirements.

Dantex group chairman Richard Danon said: “Following the success of PicoColour, it was a natural progression for our company to look to expand our range even further. We needed to go wider, faster and finer in resolution to offer more in digital capability and that’s where the PicoJet comes into its own.”

To complete its offering, Dantex will be promoting its extensive range of plate processing equipment, including its Star Plate System, which will be on stand. Star Plate is a digital imaging solution for direct inkjet imaging to film with the ability to produce high-quality screening.

Dantex is the largest independent distributor of Flexographic and Letterpress equipment and consumables in the US and Europe and has served the packaging industry for over 50 years in over 40 countries.
