Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which accounted for 40% of the total new job postings in Q4 2023 and were up by 597% year-on-year. Second highest were Business and Financial Operations Occupations, which accounted for 11% and rise by 145% year-on-year, and third highest were Production Occupations, which were 50% of the new job postings and 49% lower year-on-year.

Top five companies in packaging industry accounted for 91% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by DS Smith with 898, followed by Ball with 41, while the highest increase was at Essentra at 90%.
