US-based hybrid packaging supplier Berlin Packaging has announced a global organisational structure design to support its growth strategy.
The design includes leadership changes intended to help the company concentrate and reach its organisational vision for the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC).
These regions have been identified by Berlin Packaging as its three main geographic areas.
Berlin Packaging Global CEO and president Bill Hayes said: “This new organisation design better reflects and enables our global growth strategy.
“We will leverage our global scale and capabilities to bring unique differentiators to our customers at the local level, where it matters.”
As part of this announcement, Berlin Packaging has appointed Rick Brandt as CEO of the company’s newly created Americas region.

By GlobalDataMr Brandt said: “Our global plans are exciting and I’m honoured to take on this next challenge with Berlin Packaging’s Americas region.
“These changes will allow us to further leverage our ‘Anything is Possible’ culture and bring even more value to our customers at the local level.”
Paolo Recrosio will continue in his role as the chief executive of the company’s EMEA business.
Mr Hayes said: “In a relatively short period of time, Paolo and his team have created the clear number-one player in Europe and the UK.
“No other competitor in the industry matches our pan-European presence, our breadth of solutions or the outstanding regional and functional leadership teams in place under Paolo’s direction.”
Berlin Packaging has not revealed specific plans for the APAC region but is planning to expand in ‘appropriate areas’. It will also provide leadership updates in the future.
The company provides glass, plastic and metal containers and closures for customers across all industries.
Last month, it acquired Greece-based company Elias Valavanis, which supplies glass packaging for the food and beverage industries.
