Ahead of the drupa 2024 event, BOBST, a leading supplier of printing and packaging equipment and services, has announced a range of new solutions designed to empower customers in the ever-evolving packaging landscape.

The focus is clear: sustainability, automation, and connectivity across all industry segments, from flexible packaging and labels to folding cartons and corrugated boards.

Digitalisation and automation take centre stage with BOBST Connect, the company’s cloud-based digital platform.

Two new features enhance the offering: Workflow with Job and Recipe Management allows seamless integration of BOBST machines into production workflows while Energy Monitoring provides real-time insights into energy consumption.

Further bolstering its customer support, BOBST Application Management, a consulting service, tackles workflow optimisation and regulatory compliance.

The company pledged that all new machines purchased in 2024 will deliver at least a 10% to 20% improvement in efficiency and productivity through reduced waste and energy usage.
