US-based labelling company Brook + Whittle has acquired flexible packaging company Diamond Flexible Packaging for an undisclosed sum.
Based in Northbrook, Illinois, Diamond supplies customised printed bags and pouches for a broad range of end markets, including food, cosmetics, nutrition, beverage and healthcare.

The acquisition is intended to enhance Brook + Whittle’s wide web printing capabilities and fuel the company’s growth in its main strategic markets.
Brook + Whittle CEO Mark Pollard said: “Diamond is an ideal fit into our network and has great potential for continued growth.
“They have an excellent track record of great service and long-standing customer relationships, some of which have spanned over five decades.”

Diamond Flexible Packaging claims to offer flexible packaging products that meet and exceed customer expectations, having been in operation for more than 90 years.

Brook + Whittle provides pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves and flexible packaging for customers in North America.
Earlier this year, the company agreed to acquire Paradigm Label, a custom label manufacturer based in California.
Paradigm Label focuses on supplying flexible packaging, pressure-sensitive labels and shrink sleeves, also working directly with companies to identify the most suitable label solutions for their purposes.
