Corrugated Synergies International (CSI) is set to invest more than $31m in a new manufacturing facility as part of expansion plans in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, US.
The investment will be directed towards infrastructure, production equipment, and renovation of the new facility, which is expected to create 120 new manufacturing jobs.

By GlobalDataEstablished in 1982, the company offers project development and operational services to the corrugated packaging industry, specialising in sheet feeding.
CSI CEO John Perullo said: “We are proud to be making a long-term investment in New Mexico by placing our newest manufacturing facility in Santa Teresa.
“New Mexico’s business-friendly climate made the decision to come to New Mexico an easy one. The Governor’s visit to our corporate headquarters in the Pacific Northwest underscored the State’s commitment to welcome us.”
The company has developed and operated 12 sheet feeder operations, three full-line box plants, using 17 corrugators.
New Mexico Governor Martinez said: “When we create a business-friendly environment we attract companies, like Corrugated Synergies International, that make an incredible difference in our communities by creating good jobs for New Mexicans.”
The investment announcement comes after Martinez visited CSI’s corporate headquarters in November last year to discuss the benefits of expanding to New Mexico.
The state’s Economic Development Department will also contribute $1m in Local Economic Development Act (LEDA) funding for the facility.
