DS Smith Plastics is set to showcase its AkyPak Reusable Polypropylene Foldable Containers at the Pack Expo event taking place in Bucharest, Romania, later this month.

The firm’s AkyPak bulk containers offer features such as durability, lightweight and end of life sustainability.

According to DS Smith Plastics, these containers are also versatile and cost-efficient when it comes to savings in transportation and logistics costs.

The AkyPak 3-fold reusable containers also have a thermoformed lid and pallet, as well as a customisable and foldable polypropylene sleeve, which enable optimisation of the cargo. When empty, the sleeve can be folded in between the lid and the pallet.

“The polypropylene packaging solutions can be reused and recycled at the end of their lives.”

During next month’s event, which is to run for four days, the company will also exhibit additional polypropylene reusable packaging, retail and printing solutions for several markets.

The products and solutions to be featured include reusable boxes, sleeves and printed displays.
