Wholesale distributor Mac Papers has acquired US packaging and facility supplies distribution business Wilkerson Packaging.

Founded in 1982, Wilkerson is the recent addition to Mac Papers’ acquisition spree over the past six years, including Higdon Paper and Packaging, Boxes Etc. II and Packaging Professionals, Alles, and All Packaging Supplies.

Wilkerson operates a facility at 325 Great Southwest Parkway in Atlanta, which is no longer in service.

To cater to Wilkerson customers, Mac Papers is using its Atlanta branch at 460 Riverside Parkway, located close to the former Wilkerson facility.

Mac Papers packaging vice-president Chris McCabe said: “The Wilkerson acquisition is aligned with our proven commitment to continue to expand our packaging programme and further positions Mac Papers as the go-to packaging and facility supplies distribution partner in the Southeast.
