Since forming in 1919, Lanico has become one of the leaders in the field of can-making equipment, producing machines for the can-making and canning industry.
Today Lanico holds a major market share for necking, flanging and seaming machines that are used particularly in the production of three-piece aerosol and rectangular cans.
Lanico manufactures advanced stainless-steel can seamers for butcher shops, laboratories and general canning applications. Their state-of-the-art design is based on the vast experience that Lanico has gained from manufacturing and supplying more than 100,000 can seamers to the canning and can manufacturing industries. Features of Lanico’s stainless-steel can seamers include:
Lanico’s fully automatic can seaming machines are manufactured from stainless steel and are available in a variety of sizes and can seaming rates, from 1,800/hr up to 6,000/hr.
Lanico’s semi-automatic can seaming machines are made of stainless steel and based on a state-of-the-art design. They are completely hygienic and come in a range of sizes and can seaming rates, from 600/hr to 800/hr.
Lanico’s ZeroOx is the only machine worldwide to combine evacuating, gassing and seaming in one unit, thus dramatically reducing the lengths of such lines from 20m to only 4m. Furthermore, this compact machine will provide extremely low residual oxygen figures far below 1%. Another outstanding advantage is the ResOx Monitor, which allows 100% online check of each can in terms of the residual oxygen level, discharging all cans that have too much oxygen.
Lanico has supplied more than 700 machines and systems for the production of necked in and straight-walled aerosol cans, and is the worldwide market leader in the production of this type of machinery.
Combining the different operations of individual machines (i.e. flanging, necking and double-end seaming) into a single machine is the basic philosophy of Lanico’s design concept.
Lanico aerosol can-making machines are known for their high efficiency and productivity, extreme reliability and low maintenance cost. Diameter and height changes are performed quickly and with repeated precision.
Lanico supplies machines and complete can-making lines for the efficient and economic production of round containers, such as food cans, lever lid cans, slip lid cans and others.
Lanico offers machines for beading, seaming and flanging, as well as turnkey can-making lines. Due to its continuous research and development combined with its experience and expertise in installation and commissioning, Lanico can offer tailored solutions for almost any requirement.
Lanico supplies high-speed modular can-making machines and lines for the production of irregular-shaped cans. This includes the RCL 5 and RCL 20 can-making lines, which can be adapted to individual requirements in production. The model RCL 5 is designed for containers up to 5l at a high speed, whereas the RCL 20 is designed for containers up to 20l.
Lanico’s range of can-making machines for irregular-shaped cans also includes flanging machines, seaming machines and triple seaming machines.
