MCC Group and Cuki Cofresco’s partnership aims to create a new reliable supply of foil tray products for British food manufacturers and retailers.

Italian food production company Cuki Cofresco is looking to strengthen its share of the UK market as the global aluminium tray market grows rapidly.

The company offers a range of plain and lacquered aluminium, cardboard and polypropylene trays suitable for flow-pack packaging systems, heat-sealing in modified atmosphere, and tray skin packaging for ready meals and ready-to-cook products.

MCC Group’s knowledge of designing products, combined with their existing structure within the UK retail packaging industry, will help Cuki Cofresco continue its work of creating products suited to the UK food sector.

MCC Group managing director Michael McCahery commented: “Foils have been hard to get a hold of in the UK market in recent years – as demand has grown, manufacturers have had increased pressure to deliver. We’re ecstatic to working with Cuki, it means our customers across the UK are getting the best product with a reliable supply.”
