Spanish manufacturer of plastic packaging products CTL Packaging has chosen US-based construction firm Red Rock to develop a new $58.5m facility for the company at Gastonia Technology Park in Dallas, North Carolina.
First phase of the construction at the 226,000ft² plant is expected to start this month.

The second and third phase should increase the property’s size to 400,000ft² and 600,000ft², respectively.
The firm stated a $3.7m incentive from the county, city and state also helped it to secure the project.
CTL Packaging USA, a subsidiary of CTL TH, manufactures plastic packaging products for the cosmetics, personal care, food and pharmaceutical industries.
CTL TH is a privately held Spanish company with manufacturing facilities in Spain and France.
