Michigan-based thermoforming equipment specialist Modern Machinery is pleased to announce the successful expansion of the company’s manufacturing facility.
Modern has now moved into the new 12,000ft2 assembly area following the completion of expansion works.
The new expansion has 40ft side walls to accommodate the ever-increasing size of new equipment and has allowed for the integration of an overhead crane.
The overhead crane will benefit us in several ways, including safety, improved productivity and reduced rigging costs.
The building expansion is expected to increase Modern’s capacity by approximately 30%-40%.
