Mondi Tire Kutsan, one of the leading providers of the corrugated packaging sector in Turkey, has invited undergraduate creative students to join the Kutu Kutu project design competition with the concept of ‘shelf-ready packaging’.

The Kutu Kutu project design competition will be held for the first time this year by Mondi Tire Kutsan. The competition gives creative undergraduate students the opportunity to take the industry sector to the future design level with their creative ideas.

With this competition Mondi Tire Kutsan aims to combine design and innovation with corrugated packaging, identifying new, aesthetic and functional ideas to our daily lives. The concept of the Kutu Kutu project design challenge for 2011 is to build creative shelf-ready packaging solutions, which are original by their innovation, aesthetics, functionality as well as environmentally friendly.

Undergraduate students at the universities of fine arts, architecture and design in Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus can apply to this competition until 12 April 2011. The winner will be awarded a Design Culture and Management certificate study at Istanbul Bilgi University. The second place will be rewarded with a MacBook and the third will win an iPad. These three winners will also have the possibility to have an internship in Mondi Tire Kutsan’s plants.

The award ceremony will be held on 4 May 2011.
