Better Earth, a certified compostable foodservice packaging solutions provider, has announced the expansion of its Farmer’s Fiber Collection.

The moulded packaging collection now includes compostable clamshells, available in various sizes and compartment options, as well as plates and bowls.

In addition, the Farmer’s Fiber Collection has been reformulated to include materials grown using regenerative agricultural practices.

The collection is made by blending high-yield feedstock crops such as miscanthus, switchgrass, and sorghum, sourced from US farmers.

Produced in Tennessee, the products from this range are not only durable and versatile for both hot and cold foods but also boast resistance to moisture, oil, and grease without the use of per- and polyfluorinated substances (PFAS).

Embracing the circular economy concept, the collection decomposes into biomass in commercial composting facilities within weeks.
