Valmet has been contracted to supply a high-speed containerboard production line to an undisclosed customer based in the Zhejiang province, China.

The 7.25m board machine will have a design speed of 1,400m/min and is capable of producing recycled fluting grades with a basis weight range of 60-140g/m².

The production line is scheduled to be installed at the Chinese customer’s facility by the end of 2019.
