Advanced materials developer UBQ Materials and polymers distributor Plastribution have signed a distribution agreement for advanced materials.

Plastribution will have access to UBQ’s product portfolio which incorporates a range of engineered products tailored to meet companies’ sustainability goals.

One example is a bio-based thermoplastic made entirely from residual waste, including all organics and hard-to-recycle materials, which PepsiCo used in 2022.

UBQ’s products are related to fossil-based plastic replacement, waste diversion, increased post-consumer recycled content and emissions removal and avoidance.

All materials offered to Plastribution’s client base in the UK and Ireland will be produced in UBQ’s new industrial-scale facility in Bergen Op-Zoom, Netherlands.
