As a result of its rapid international growth, tna, a leading supplier of integrated packaging and processing solutions for food production companies worldwide announces the immediate promotions of three of the company’s top sales people.

Patrick Avelange promoted to group sales manager

Previously general manager for tna’s Middle East and North African operations, Avelange’s new role will entail servicing and growing the company’s global customer base, working closely with sales offices located throughout the world. He will work from the TNA Australia office in Sydney.

Avelange has held various positions at the company for over ten years. He was responsible for opening the company’s Dubai office and expanding tna’s Middle East business sevenfold, creating the company’s footprint in Italy and significantly growing tna’s business in France. He brings a wealth of experience in the packaging and electronic components industries to his new position with a specific emphasis on sales, business development and management.

Bachar Ghadri promoted to general manager for Middle East operations

In his new role, Ghadri will oversee sales and operations for tna throughout the Middle East region from India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to Northern Arica. He will continue to consolidate tna’s success in the Middle East within snacks and other markets while integrating the company’s ever-expanding product range. Ghadri will be based in Dubai, UAE.

Since joining the company in 2006, Ghadri has been instrumental in opening new markets and increasing sales. Prior to tna, he served as senior sales executive for Semim Group, the largest manufacturer of tabletop glassware in the Middle East, where he was responsible for the creation of a B2B sales division. Ghadri also held a sales executive position at Mindware (IT).

Suresh Chandran promoted to after market sales manager

Based in Sydney, Chandran will be responsible for upgrading current customers in the region to the latest tna offerings.

Chandran began working at tna as a customer service coordinator in 1996 and has steadily expanded his roles and responsibilities. He has held various positions since joining the firm, including systems coordinator, logistics manager and regional sales manager for the Indian sub continent, where he was integral in the effort to expand tna’s presence in the region.

“The promotions of Patrick, Bachar and Suresh are a mark of their personal successes at tna and their contributions to the overall performance of the company,” said Alf Taylor, managing director, tna. “Their expanded roles within the organisation are very well deserved.”
