The Eastern European market is regarded as having a significant growth potential. With its economy and wealth rising, Eastern Europe finds itself in an era of societal change. Johann Amoser, owner of monta Klebebandwerk, explored the idea of entering the packaging tape business in that region in the early 1990s and founded Fix-pack Kft., an independent company in Hungary dedicated to the distribution of packaging tapes, including in-house printed tapes.

After almost two decades of successful cooperation between monta and Fix-Pack Kft. Hungary, monta Klebebandwerk has now acquired the total business shares of Fix-Pack Kft. On 3 January 2012 Fix-Pack Kft. Budapest became a subsidiary of monta Klebebandwerk. While Fix-Pack Kft. continues to act independently, doing business under its original name, the merger is expected to strengthen the synergy between the two companies and further develop monta’s business in European countries.

With continuous growth since its founding, Fix-Pack Kft. ranks among the three leading packaging enterprises in the Hungarian market. With Fix-Pack Srl. Romania, founded in 2011, an additional distribution facility was established to support sales activities in another Eastern European economic area. Further plans for growth are on the horizon.

The immediate future calls for Fix-Pack Kft. Hungary and Fix-Pack Srl. Romania to work more closely with the monta organisation in order to streamline structure and processes.
